Lee’s Kitchen is a straightforward Chinese restaurant tucked away on SW Nyberg Street in Tualatin, serving up familiar dishes that draw a steady local crowd. The dining room has a no-frills vibe that shows its age—some spots could use a freshening up—but that doesn’t seem to affect the steady flow of regulars who come mainly for the food rather than the décor.

The menu leans heavily into classic Chinese-American favorites like pot stickers with sweet and sour sauce, Mongolian beef, and kung pao chicken. Those looking for comforting bowls of hot and sour or egg flower soup will find solid options here, alongside a variety of wonton soups and fried rice dishes. Portions tend to be generous, which makes Lee’s particularly popular for family dinners or casual group meals where sharing and sampling multiple plates is part of the experience.

Service is noted for being friendly and attentive even during busy times—there’s a personal touch from the staff that locals appreciate, with familiar faces delivering food and checking in throughout the meal. The atmosphere feels more utilitarian than polished, which may appeal to diners who prioritize straightforward, hearty meals over ambiance.

Lee’s Kitchen seems most fitting for those who grew up on this style of Chinese food or anyone seeking a reliable, reasonably priced spot for comforting dishes like sweet and sour shrimp or kung pao chicken without venturing far from home. It’s not a spot for special occasions, but it works well for midweek dinners, casual meet-ups, or grabbing a plate to go.

Despite some dated aspects of the space, the place has built a loyal following, with some customers willing to make trips from nearby towns just to get their fill. If you’re in Tualatin and craving consistent takeout or a family-style sit-down meal in a relaxed setting, Lee’s Kitchen is a familiar option worth knowing about.

Great Chinese food it's in a somewhat tuff location and the inside of the place could use a little cleaning and updating but the food is really good and so is the service. I only wish they had honey glazed chicken on the menu but it's the best place around for good Chinese food and the prices are reasonable especially for the amount each meal comes with. I've gone there several times and each time has been very good.

This has some of the best kung pao chicken I've ever tasted. They also have great hot and sour soup. Service is better than most other places we go, even when busy. My only down side is I don't care for their breading. It's not bad, by any means, just not to my taste. My wife and kids love it. Second best Chinese place in the area.

My name is Ana Guillen. I want to share my experience at Lee’s kitchen. On Sunday September 21 my cousins and I stop for dinner at this place on our way to the airport. We had excellent serve from the minute we walked in. A guy named Michael, Portuguese was very kind and attentive I don’t know if he is the manager but was very polite I didn’t get his last name. The food and service were wonderful. I highly recommend the place. I was visiting from LA when I get a chance to go back I will revisit the restaurant.

The place looks nice and they serve you well. The woman taking the order coughs while you're in front of her, that's no nice. The food is great though.

Been going to Lee's for almost going on 2 decades. Best Chinese food around us. We drive from Woodburn to eat there. Nice people too!

Went for lunch yesterday, and it did not disappoint. The lunch specials are around $10, but you get enough for leftovers! If you order chow mein, be sure to order it with double pan-fried noodles - - they are the best I’ve ever had, anywhere…

First time visited today. The food is amazing and a lot of it. Huge dishes. Kung pao chicken is great! I love the egg rolls, very fresh & tasty. Service is excellent as well. Highly recommend!!
